The Path to Solving Our Crisis
The phrase ‘let’s get down to brass tacks’, originating from at least the 1800s, is a way to say, ‘let’s get down to the essence of the thing.’ Let’s push away the superfluous and talk about the foundational basis of the topic.
Concerning present day America, that essence is white male supremacy.
You will notice I do not use the term ‘white supremacy’ because inherent in this concept is the maleness of the white supremacist leadership. It is really ‘white MALE supremacy’ with many of their complicit women pitifully and self-destructively supporting this denigration of everything our nation stands for. We know that statistically domestic violence and white supremacy travel in the same humans, simply reflecting their undemocratic and vicious desire for dominance wielded by the fist of violence. We know that our White Evangelical Christian Churches strenuously push the idea of the man as supreme head of household. Hundreds of millions of Americans have been taught this white male supremacy at the knee of their families and communities.
The white male supremacy of our nation right now is a psychological and literal descendant of the men who, during the pre-Civil War era, were purely terrified at the idea of losing not only their free labor but their dominance over this new and wealthy nation. Fear and white male supremacy travel, hand in hand.
Many people have questioned why some in their family are grabbed, psychologically, by the cult-like propaganda but others in the family are not. The hole in the psyche by which the Fox News, the Newsmax, the OANNs, the downstream RW media outlets of the world enter and establish themselves is white male supremacy. These news and media outlets behave as cult leaders, utilizing the same psychological techniques which successfully launched other terrorist groups such as ISIS. The same techniques, the same result: a religiously instigated terrorist hate group.
For 5 years and ongoing, the only commonalities in the words spoken by trump are his racist, misogynist, bigoted dog whistles. He had no plan. He had no platform. He had no results except the growth of hate in our nation and the utilization of our great wealth to establish this cemented cult of hate. Eight trillion dollars of increased debt later, he has his cult.
On January 9 of this year, Speaker Pelosi nailed the topic, as she usually does. Her brief statement on the failure of our nation to repulse these cognitively vicious societal memes is below. These white male supremacist memes will be the unfortunate energy drain for our nation just as we require every bit of energy to solve our nation’s many problems. Of course, the implanting and fanning of the flames of this hate was inspired and instigated by our nation’s enemies, but it is the longstanding white male supremacy, never dealt with, which is the wound we must heal.
The nation’s psychological and temporal energy to put down this hate may forever steal our world dominance and leadership.
Here is a part of what Speaker Pelosi said on January 9, 2021. May we address this ongoing tragedy with bravery and commitment to decency and to the future generations of Americans.

This cannot be exaggerated. The complicity- — not only the complicity, the instigation of the President of the United States must and will be addressed.”
The question is: “What will be the cost to put down this white male supremacy and get on with democracy?”
